Full Job Description Benefits:
Paid time off
Who Are We:
We're a small, close-knit independent insurance agency — and if you're not sure what that means, here's the short version: we represent our clients, underwriting partners and vendors. That independence matters, and it shapes everything about how we operate. Our team runs on AMS360 and InsuredMine, and we're always looking for ways to use technology to work smarter and serve our clients better. Technology isn't a side project here — it's core to how we operate. We're looking for someone early in their career who's ready to roll up their sleeves, learn fast, and grow with us. This is a real opportunity — not a glorified help desk agent.
The Role:
As our IT Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our systems secure, stable, and running smoothly. Day to day that means managing our devices, network, and software — while also supporting the workflows that keep an insurance agency humming: policy management, client servicing, submissions, renewals, and everything in between. You'll develop a real understanding of how insurance operations work, not just the tech that supports them. We're also thinking long-term about this hire. As you settle in and grow, there's a clear path toward taking on more strategic and leadership responsibility — especially as our technology footprint expands.
What You'll Be Doing:
Monitoring and maintaining our data security and integrity — keeping client information safe is non-negotiable Manage day-to-day
IT:
devices, network, software, user accounts, and vendor relationships Support and maintain our agency management systems (AMS360 and InsuredMine) — the backbone of how we manage policies, clients, and the sales pipeline Troubleshoot issues as they come up — and document fixes so they don't keep coming up Help build and improve internal processes and workflows so the team spends less time on repetitive tasks Identify bottlenecks in how we operate and work with leadership to iron them out Create and maintain clear documentation so everyone knows how things work — and why Support staff when they need tech help — patience and a good attitude go a long way here Keep an eye on what's new in the tech world and flag anything that could be useful for us
Who We're Looking For:
Recent grads are absolutely encouraged to apply. Here's what matters to us: A degree or coursework in IT, computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or something related A solid foundation in systems, networking, and security concepts Some exposure to or genuine curiosity about the insurance industry — you don't need to know it inside and out, but you should want to learn it Curious about AI and how it's changing the way businesses work — you don't need to be an expert, just genuinely interested and eager to implement it in our organization Reliable, detail-oriented, and someone who follows through Good with people - you'll be supporting a small team that isn't always tech-savvy An eye for processing - you notice when something could work better and you actually do something about it Self-motivated and comfortable figuring things out when there isn't a manual A Few Things to
Know:
This is a 100% in-office role in Davie, FL. We're a small, in-person team and we genuinely enjoy working that way. The starting salary is $50,000-$60,000 and we mean it as a starting point . We're investing in someone we can grow, and we're committed to making sure compensation reflects that growth. Why You'll Like It Working with Us? Great place to start your career and actually learn how a business runs — including the ins and outs of the insurance industry A team that's open to new ideas and not stuck in "this is how we've always done it" Clear growth path into a more senior, strategic role Small team means you matter here — your work is visible and your impact is real Apply Today! If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking to advance your career in the insurance industry, we'd love to hear from you!
