Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the network infrastructure. This includes servers, routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Configures, monitors, and troubleshoots network devices to maintain seamless connectivity and address emerging issues. Implements and maintains essential network security measures, performs routine backups and disaster recovery procedures, and resolves network bottlenecks. Installs and configures network hardware and software. They also maintain comprehensive network documentation and provide timely technical support to end users. Stays current with emerging network technologies and trends, actively pursuing professional development opportunities. The Network Administrator receives guidance and direction from more senior staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in field necessary to assume Network Administrator duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree. 4+ years of experience with 2+ years of relevant Network Administrator experience. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their networking components. Knowledge of network security best practices, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewall management. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques for performance optimization and troubleshooting. DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automating network tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with military/diplomatic operations working within a
J-6/G-6/S-6
Directorate or with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or the Department of State (DoS), leading and performing cybersecurity risk assessments for and across multiple commands, agencies, and regionally distributed locations in a Security Operations Center (SOC). ITIL Foundation certificate, CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator-Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate certifications. Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time. Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication verbally and via email, phone, and virtual communication platforms to interface with co-workers and customers. Must be able to occasionally move about inside an office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, and communicate with co-workers.
