Senior Linux Administrator

Description Your responsibilities will include working individually and with teams to: Configure, deploy and administer Linux-based systems (Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu, etc.) on physical and virtual environments (both production and non-production) Assist in installation of software development and engineering tools Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and projects as related to Linux support Produce and maintain configuration and maintenance documentation Minimum Requirements Strong Experience managing and maintaining Linux based infrastructure Strong Experience implementing Linux based infrastructure hardening (STIGs, etc.) Strong Experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities (STIGs, Scans, etc.) Experience with Centralized Management of Linux based infrastructure (Satellite, Foreman, Ansible, etc.) Automate system administration tasks using scripting (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) Experience with Windows Domain Integration of Linux infrastructure managing user access, permissions, and identity integration (LDAP, Active Directory) Provide modest-level of 24x7 on-call support of key systems DoD 8140 Certification Must be able to obtain U.S. Government security clearance.
