This role requires an active CompTIA Security+ certification and a strong ability to translate security and information protection policies into actionable technical requirements and system configurations. Primary Responsibilities System Operations — Maintain continuous, secure operation of cyber compliant computer systems in coordination with network administration teams. Security Policy Implementation — Interpret security and information protection policies and convert them into executable technical requirements and solutions. Cyber Troubleshooting — Diagnose and resolve system cyber settings issues that impact embedded software functionality. System Maintenance — Perform software patching, virus scanning, vulnerability scanning, and system backups. Account & Documentation Management — Set up administrator and service accounts and maintain accurate system documentation. Project Management — Manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Desired Skills Information Assurance Tools — Familiarity with Splunk, Nessus/Tenable/ACAS, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker, or eSTIG. Programming Knowledge — Experience with C++ development. Scripting Languages — Ability to script in Python, PowerShell, Node.js, or similar languages. CI/CD & Containers — Experience with GitLab pipelines, Docker, and container based microservice architectures. Linux Certification — Certification in Linux administration
