Job Description

14696 - Systems Administrator (onsite) -

Temp-to-Hire Estimated Duration :
6 months with possible conversion to direct hire.
Work Setting:
100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tampa, FL (required); Systems Administrator Experience (10+ years) Experience with Linux administration, including Red Hat, containerization, and DevOps practices (10+ years); Experience with enterprise storage administration for mid-size or larger organizations; Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 or VMware 8 minimum; Experience with NSX (VMware network virtualization);
Preferred:
Experience with NetApp enterprise storage; Experience with Zscaler.
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Linux (Red Hat) environments including containerization platforms and DevOps pipelines; Manage and support enterprise storage infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and capacity planning; Administer VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX environments, including configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting; Support virtualized network infrastructure and ensure secure, high-availability operations across the environment; Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on system integrations, upgrades, and technology refreshes; Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and perform root cause analysis to resolve infrastructure issues; Maintain documentation for systems configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks.
