Position Summary The Product Support & Service Technician plays a vital role in both production and service operations. This position is responsible for diagnosing and resolving product issues, preforming rework as needed, supporting product operations, assisting with product improvements and new product development, testing prototypes and providing technical support to dealers and distributors as needed. You will collaborate with production, development, product management and management teams to keep operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on role that directly impacts product quality, service performance, customer satisfaction, and overall production efficiency. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is mechanically inclined, and can effectively balance responsibilities across production improvements, rework/service and support. Qualifications MST certificate is preferred but not required. Mechanical aptitude (assembly, manufacturing, and/or repair experience) Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication skills — able to listen, understand issues, and explain solutions clearly Comfortable on the phone is a plus Able to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management and reliability Self-motivated with a proactive mindset Ability to lift up to 50+lbs. without assistance Basic computer skills What We're Looking For Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Hands-on with strong mechanical aptitude Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship Able to manage responsibilities across assembly, service, and support Service-minded with a strong sense of accountability Strong listener who communicates clearly and works well with others Positive attitude and strong work ethic Compensation and Benefits Pay ranges from $20-$30+ per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities Opportunities for cross-training and skill development Potential for growth within production and service roles Why You'll Love Working Here At Viper MFG, your work matters.
