Job Description Link Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator (Intermediate Level) to join our team in support of the Southeast Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) at Fort Stewart, GA. Must be a US Citizen Requires a Secret Clearance Non-remote (relocation incentive available) As a Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of government information assets. This will include support for network design, security management, advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring overall network performance and compliance with Army standards. Job Responsibilities:
Provide daily supervision and direction to personnel across the Network Team. Provide training and mentorship to technicians, helping them develop their skills and knowledge. Manage, coordinate, and track responsibility for the System delivery team. Troubleshoot network connectivity problems, including monitoring the network and servers for issues, diagnosing problems, and taking the appropriate corrective measures to ensure an expedient resolution. Provide O&M support to the Call Manager and Unified Communications systems. Provide support in managing and maintaining the Call Managers, Gatekeepers, and Gateway equipment, including VoIP handsets as well as analog phones. Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems. Utilize Cisco networking equipment to manage, configure, and maintain network infrastructure. Collect and review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes. Support the development and delivery of training sessions to ensure staff understand network resources. Qualifications U.S. citizen with an active secret clearance. IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC) equivalent or higher. Eight (8+) years of IT experience, preferably within a Help/Service Desk environment. Three (3+) years of experience providing daily supervision and direction to personnel across the Network teams. Experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba networking equipment. Proficient in VoIP voice communications to support the VoIP Systems. Baseline Certification is required within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT Service Management, or other IT-related fields. Microsoft environment certificate for Windows 10, Windows 11, or MS 365 Endpoint. Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems. Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
