Job Description
This position may be filled as SCADA Systems Administrator I ($26.27
- $34.16 hourly), SCADA Systems Administrator II ($27.85
- $36.21 hourly) or SCADA Systems Administrator III ($29.52

Troubleshoots end-user problems:
responds to initial on-site requests for assistance and resolves problems; escalates problem to vendors or other personnel as appropriate; ensures continual operations of customers' software applications; and utilizes diagnostic tools and other resources as appropriate. Conducts training programs for software/hardware users: writes and/or revises user training manuals and lesson plans; answers questions and provides information during and after training; and conducts one-on-one training sessions as needed. Installs and maintains personal computer hardware and software: ensures availability and proper operation of products for installation; codes, maintains, and compiles applications; installs service packs, patches, and updates; tests installed products per department standards; and adds and replaces servers, nodes, switches, transceivers, cables, drives expansion boards, power supplies, and associated hardware and components as needed Maintains and awareness of new applications, technologies, technical methods, trends, and advances in the profession: reviews professional publications, technical manuals, and websites to increase knowledge of network operations; attends conferences, workshops, and training sessions as appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned. SCADA Systems Administrator II Administers servers and software as assigned: ensures efficient and accurate processing and operations of assigned servers and software at pump stations and water reclamation facilities; tests, troubleshoots and resolves issues with application and system functionality; installs technical updates to system; maintains, backs up, and restores data; monitors and reports on system usage; sets up, updates, and/or deletes user profiles as needed; participates in system management, conversion, migration and updates as needed; and creates professional documentation. Runs and submits a variety of reports from system programs and databases in compliance with applicable regulatory standards: develops and maintains special reports, system tables, and database queries; reviews quality and accuracy of data; identifies and corrects errors; troubleshoots and analyzes discrepancies in data; updates, repairs, modifies and expands existing programs as needed; prepares charts and diagrams; and maintains related reports and statistical data. Provides information system user support for assigned software: identifies and resolves problems to restore service to user in a timely and efficient manner; designs new, or modifies existing, configurations to meet users' needs; ensures that computer equipment and operations are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and rules.Troubleshoots end-user problems:

Minimum Qualifications SCADA Systems Administrator I Associate's Degree in Computer Programming, Information Technology, Network Administration or related field required; supplemented by one year of experience in computer programming, technical support, network administration or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. SCADA Systems Administrator II Associate's Degree in Computer Programming, Information Technology, Network Administration or related field required; supplemented by three years of experience in computer programming, technical support, network administration or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. SCADA Systems Administrator III Associate's Degree in Computer Programming, Information Technology, Network Administration or related field required; supplemented by five years of experience in computer programming, technical support, network administration or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. SCADA Systems Administrator I Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must have entry level IT certification or from the list.Qualifying list of certifications:
