This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can support core systems, strengthen endpoint operations, and resolve escalated technical issues across the environment. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of infrastructure stability, backup readiness, virtualization support, and day-to-day operational improvements.

Responsibilities:

Oversee endpoint administration activities, including application packaging, software distribution, operating system imaging, and patch deployment across managed devices. Investigate and resolve client management issues by monitoring device health, troubleshooting deployment failures, and improving reporting accuracy. Maintain and support core infrastructure platforms, including Nutanix systems, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as upgrades, patch cycles, performance checks, and general system administration to keep infrastructure reliable. Administer backup and recovery operations using Veeam, including job monitoring, restore execution, and validation of backup integrity. Contribute to disaster recovery preparedness by updating documentation, assisting with recovery planning, and helping verify operational readiness. Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues involving firewalls, VLANs, remote access, and related infrastructure components in a Palo Alto environment. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity incidents while managing a steady flow of service requests and escalations. Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes through automation and practical improvements to endpoint and infrastructure management workflows. Proven experience administering Active Directory, Windows Server, and Group Policy in a production environment. Hands-on background with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft SCCM, including software deployment, patching, and imaging. Working knowledge of Nutanix infrastructure administration, monitoring, and performance support. Experience managing backup and recovery processes with Veeam Backup & Replication. Ability to troubleshoot Windows 10 endpoint issues, escalated user support requests, and general system connectivity problems. Familiarity with networking concepts such as VLANs, firewall environments, and remote connectivity troubleshooting. Experience supporting enterprise hardware and infrastructure technologies, including Dell and Citrix-based environments. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented setting.
