Job Description

Overview :
This is an on-site System Administrator role focused on day-to-day IT support, including ticket management, device troubleshooting, and user support. The role involves handling incoming tickets, resolving issues related to PCs, mobile devices (iPads, scanners, phones), and supporting user account activities such as logins, access changes, and group management. The position requires hands-on troubleshooting in both office and field environments , including occasional visits to resolve issues on-site. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing setting , including adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements. A strong emphasis is placed on professional communication, customer interaction, and teamwork . The team is looking for someone who can proactively manage tickets, gather accurate information, and collaborate effectively to resolve issues. This is a 5-day onsite role .at Decatur, IL Education & Experience Associate's degree preferred (not mandatory) 3+ years of IT support experience required Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Candidates with 10+ years of experience may be considered overqualified Required Technical Skills Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred; Remedy or JIRA acceptable) Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Office, SharePoint, Power BI) Strong PC troubleshooting skills (desktops, laptops, peripherals, software, configurations) Experience with mobile device support (phones, tablets, scanners) Basic understanding of networking concepts , including connectivity troubleshooting and exposure to factory network environments
Pay:
Up to $40.00 per hour
