  • Data and Systems Specialist The Technology III
  • Data and Systems Specialist is a building-level position within the Technology Department responsible for supporting data management, reporting, scheduling, and systems integration at the school level.
The role serves school leaders and other staff members by maintaining and translating data into actionable information. This includes leveraging student information systems, generating reports, building analytic tools, verifying building-level state reporting data, and maintaining data integrity across enterprise platforms. This position requires demonstrated proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools, a working knowledge of student information systems and data visualization tools, and the ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate data workflows. The successful candidate works independently at the building level while collaborating closely with the district-wide Technology team, District Data Manager and reporting administrators.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in information technology, computer science, data analytics, business, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute. Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in data management, systems support, or a related technical field. Demonstrated experience working with large data sets, including extracting, transforming, and presenting data for non-technical audiences. Demonstrated experience creating documentation and providing technical end-user training. Proficiency on a performance task related to data cleaning and analysis using a sample dataset, related queries, data visualization, and demonstrating familiarity with leveraging AI. 1 position at North High and 1 position at South High.
