A subsidiary of The Braime Group, one of the largest suppliers of material handling and industrial electronic components in the world, 4B looks back on more than 130 years of experience. With presence in Europe, America, Asia, Africa, Australia and a worldwide network of distributors, 4B can provide practical solutions for material handling applications around the globe.
Job Purpose:
Lead and manage the day-to-day IT function of the company's US office and support the Canadian office, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable technology services. Establish and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including user awareness training, endpoint protection, secure configuration, and incident response coordination. Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes; ensure periodic recovery testing is performed and documented. Manage key IT vendor relationships—including the managed IT service provider (MSP), internet/telecom providers, hardware and warranty partners, and software/SaaS and cybersecurity vendors—by setting expectations (scope, SLAs, timelines), coordinating escalations, and tracking issues through resolution. Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, recommend solutions, and translate operational requirements into practical technical outcomes. Maintain system and process documentation (network diagrams, asset records, procedures, policies) and support audits/compliance requirements as applicable. Develop and track IT plans and budgets (hardware/software renewals, licensing, lifecycle replacements) and provide regular status reporting to leadership
Qualifications:
Proven ability to lead IT operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root-cause resolution.
