Senior Operations Support & Systems Administrator(Secret Clearance Required) O'Fallon, IL Job Type Full-time Description Join Solerity, a trusted provider of Information Technology, Engineering Services, Program Management, and Consulting Services supporting the U.S. Federal Government and Intelligence Community. We are seeking a Senior Operations Support & Systems Administrator.

Job Description:

Monitor and troubleshoot IGC production applications. Respond to incidents generated through system alerts, system users via support tickets, email, phone and in-person requests. Provide clear technical guidance and instructions to users software issue resolution. Provide 24/7 operational support including incident response, outage recovery, and root cause analysis.

Systems Administration & Maintenance:

Administer Linux (e.g., RHEL) and Windows server environments. Manage servers, including system performance, user access, services, and backup/recovery solutions.

Lifecycle Management:

Execute robust patch management, OS upgrades, and COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) software upgrades across production and non-production systems.

Leadership & Mentoring:

Lead infrastructure and automation projects while actively mentoring junior administrators to strengthen team technical proficiency.

Security & Compliance:

Perform regular security scan analysis on servers. Implement, enforce, and remediate DISA STIGs to maintain ATO readiness.

Documentation & Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (web designers, product managers, QA). Log and meticulously document customer queries. Update and manage internal IT procedural documentation and self-help guides. Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager. Requirements

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR Bachelor's degree (any field) + One of the certifications: Cloud+ or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC

Minimum Experience:

Extensive experience in Linux Systems Administration in an enterprise or DoD environment. Proven hands-on experience with

DISA STIG

implementation, vulnerability remediation, and system patching. Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python). Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls). Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor cross-functional team members. Excellentmunication, problem-solving, and incident-response skills. Minimum Clearance Active DoD Secret Clearance
