Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in Schaumburg, Illinois. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing enterprise systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high performance across a variety of platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and administer Windows Server environments, including updates, upgrades, and virtual machine maintenance.
  • Support and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) in hybrid identity setups.
  • Provide troubleshooting and end-user support for PCs, including hardware and software issues on Intune-managed endpoints.
  • Oversee Windows desktop support and ensure smooth operations across the organization.
  • Assist with virtualization platforms such as VMware and other hypervisor environments.
  • Monitor and manage Azure Backup and Recovery Services Vault-based backup infrastructure.
  • Contribute to endpoint protection operations using platforms such as CrowdStrike Falcon or similar.
  • Diagnose and resolve system, network, and application issues, including those related to cloud-managed networking (Meraki).
  • Follow established change management and ticketing workflows, ensuring compliance with organizational processes.
