Duration:
12 months contract Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quote Analyst to support the customer quotation process by responding to Requests for Quote (RFQs). This role partners closely with sales, pre-sales, and marketing teams to deliver optimized, accurate, and timely quotations to customers. The ideal candidate engages professionally with stakeholders, anticipates challenges, proposes proactive solutions, and demonstrates strong integrity and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer RFQs by preparing accurate and timely quotes Ensure continuous improvement in accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and clarity within the quoting and estimating process Analyze quoting data and trends, including: Customer-specific quote trends Quote-to-order trends Quote response time metrics Translate analytical insights into actionable information for the sales team (CRM support) Interpret customer part drawings, specifications, and die prints to determine producibility and pricing Evaluate business guidelines, manufacturing capacity, constraints, and cost factors to recommend optimal manufacturing flow paths Provide technical support to inside and outside sales teams regarding producibility, manufacturing processes, quality, and pricing Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support the Commercial Organization Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, OneNote) Strong customer service orientation and understanding of service delivery principles Experience with database user interfaces and customer service knowledge generation software Active listening skills Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning abilities Persuasion and communication skills Ability to learn quickly and apply new information effectively Social perceptiveness and interpersonal awareness Excellent time management skills Strong problem sensitivity and attention to detail Deductive and inductive reasoning skills Strong information ordering and organizational skills Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a sales environment Ability to comply with export control regulations, including access to controlled technology as defined by the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Work Environment This role operates in a professional office setting and supports multiple sites as part of the full quotation lifecycle process. #TB_OTH #ZR
