Position Details:
Indiana State University is looking for a dynamic Drupal professional to develop, test, debug, and document responsive Drupal themes that power Indiana State University and college websites. You'll work with standard Drupal base themes while following industry best practices to create accessible, user-friendly digital experiences. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or a related field and 1-2 years of experience managing web projects OR a high school diploma and 3-5 years of experience managing web projects. Job Summary:
The Web Services Specialist will work collaboratively with a team of Content Developers, UX professionals, and web staff to maintain, enhance, and support a continuously evolving network of Indiana State University websites built on the Drupal platform. This position serves as a primary resource for university departments requesting website updates, content changes, multimedia integrations, accessibility improvements, and general web support. The Web Services Specialist will coordinate and implement website updates across a broad range of institutional web properties while ensuring content accuracy, usability, accessibility, and alignment with university web standards and branding guidelines. The position will also assist with light front-end development tasks, Drupal site configuration, troubleshooting, and implementation of web features and functionality within the university's web platform. The position will support distributed web editors through training, troubleshooting, and guidance related to Drupal content management workflows and best practices while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to support the university's digital communications and web presence.
Required Field of Study:
