•5 PM (some flexibility) Sponsorship is not available Linux Automation Engineer•Infrastructure Automation Description Our client, a technology solutions provider, is seeking a Linux Automation Engineer to join their team in Littleton, MA. This newly created position was designed to support the continued expansion of the company's proprietary automation platform and help improve manufacturing efficiency by reducing manual operational support across global sites. The role will focus heavily on Linux environments, Python and Bash scripting, and the ongoing development of automation systems used for provisioning, deployment, validation, and manufacturing operations. Over 60% of the role is focused on automation development, with the remaining responsibilities supporting production operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure related initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Linux and automation experience who enjoys building new frameworks, improving processes, and helping shape scalable automation practices. The Director of Engineering places a strong emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, and continuous improvement, and is looking for someone who enjoys bringing new ideas to the table while helping shape the long-term direction of the automation environment. Linux Automation Engineer•Infrastructure Automation Responsibilities Build scalable and reliable automation processes Support deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancement of automation systems Collaborate with engineering, production, and infrastructure teams Troubleshoot automation, operating system, and system connectivity related issues Assist with BIOS, firmware, and operating system deployment activities Support provisioning workflows and system configuration initiatives Support Linux administration, system validation, and automation tooling environments Contribute to the ongoing development of automation architecture and best practices Participate in infrastructure and connectivity related troubleshooting activities as needed Support networking, provisioning flows, and automated environment related initiatives Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce manual support Linux Automation Engineer•Infrastructure Automation Qualifications Minimum 5 years of automation engineering experience required Strong hands-on experience working within Linux environments required Experience with Python and Bash scripting required U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency in the US is required for this position due to federal government/military contract requirements About #twiceasnice Recruiting Across industries, roles, and North America, we help clients quickly attract top talent with custom-built searches.
