Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time position, available to start as soon as possible. The role involves providing installation and after-sales service for our equipment to customers, both in the workshop and on-site. Additionally, the position includes project management responsibilities for local integration with our equipment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive application and technical advice for welding equipment. Independently organize and execute welding tests, demonstrations, commissioning, and training both in-house and at customer premises. Process customer inquiries and manage projects. Conduct product demonstrations at trade fairs and external events. Offer technical support and perform repairs based on experience and background. Engage in travel activities locally, with potential expansion based on experience. Actively support sales of products and services. Perform maintenance, both preventive and repairs, of equipment in the workshop, at customer sites in the US, Canada, and Mexico, or remotely. Prepare and follow up on installations at client premises. Train customers in equipment maintenance. Provide technical support to the sales team technicians. Determine technical content for spare parts and services, and participate in machine installations at customer sites. Manage local integrations of automated equipment and partner-supplied equipment. Qualifications Completed technical training with relevant knowledge inGTAW/TIG
welding. Customer-oriented with strong communication skills, friendly, and courteous. Independent, reliable, and structured working methods. Flexibility for multi-day business trips. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in industrial equipment maintenance. Knowledge of programming or maintenance of automated solutions is highly desirable (PLCs, speed variation, brushless technology). Proficiency in professional and technical English. Curiosity, availability, methodology, and adaptability are required. Ability to work within a team and independently. Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental topics. Mastery of office tools (Word, Excel, email). Knowledge of E.P.I. usage rules adapted to activity. Electrical clearance required. Shift/Travel Details Must be located within 45 minutes of the office in Canton, MA. Travel required one week per month, typically between Monday and Friday, with efforts to avoid weekend travel. Compensation and Benefits Full-time permanent contract with compensation based on experience. Benefits include health insurance and 401K. Travel pay and a monthly commission based on a percentage of service sales volume.
