Job Description

Job Description Whalley Computer Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Service Technician to join our Configuration Center team. This role is responsible for the preparation, deployment, and quality assurance of a wide range of IT equipment to support our clients' technology needs. The IT Service Technician performs imaging, configuration, modification, and testing of various IT devices including laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, and mobile carts. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all equipment is properly prepared, fully functional, and meets company and client standards prior to deployment Responsibilities Configure hardware including, laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, and mobile carts Deploy images, configure software, and devices following work instructions Inspect new equipment for defects and troubleshoot problems Perform quality inspections on projects Unpacking, packing, and kitting of hardware Follow documented processes to ensure accuracy and consistency Work efficiently to best utilize resources, meet schedules, and performance targets Qualifications Team player with positive attitude Technical knowledge and training in computer hardware & operating systems preferred Motivated individuals that thrive in a fast-paced production environment Working knowledge of major desktop operating systems (Windows 10, 11, ChromeOS, OSX, iOS) Knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and safety procedures a plus Ability to use a pallet jack Lifting requirement 40+ lbs Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Must be able to pass a background check Salary & Benefits WCA offers competitive pay rates based on experience and ability. Full time positions include health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation and personal time, holiday pay, 401K with company match, and long-term disability.
