The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and security of the organization's technology infrastructure and systems. This role provides technical leadership for day-to-day systems operations, including servers, network infrastructure, Microsoft 365 services, virtualization platforms, cybersecurity tools, backup systems, clinical systems, and end-user support. Administer and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and related infrastructure technologies. Maintain and support network infrastructure including switches, wireless systems, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and internet services. Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and user identity management. Monitor system performance, availability, backups, storage utilization, and infrastructure health. Perform system updates, patch management, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities. Assist with disaster recovery planning, backup verification, and business continuity initiatives. Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives, including HIPAA, annual risk assessments, remediation tasks, and organizational security standards. Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and remediation activities related to security or operational events. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related equipment. Support audio/visual systems, telecommunications systems, and other operational technology platforms as assigned. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution, maintenance, and project support. Participate in after-hours support, maintenance windows, emergency response, and on-call coverage as required. Provide compassionate, patient, and professional technology support to residents and staff. Assist residents with technology-related questions, connectivity issues, communication platforms, and personal device support as appropriate. What we are looking fo r : Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 3-5 years of progressively responsible systems administration or infrastructure support experience. Ability to uphold our core values, follow policies and procedures. Must be able to take initiative to always find a way to say yes to both our residents and staff. Able to work a flexible schedule, have reliable transportation, and be on time for scheduled shifts. Most importantly, have a positive attitude and be able to smile at all times (even under a mask). Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.. Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization technologies. Healthcare, senior living, or other regulated industry experience preferred. Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical users. Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors. Availability for occasional evening, weekend, and on-call support as operationally necessary.
