This role will be the point person for all IT related responsibilities for the company. Primary Responsibilities/Functions 1. Manages Synergi's IT infrastructure to ensure all aspects are operating efficiently, including software, hardware, licenses, phones and tablets, phone system, and printers. 2. Manages IT service providers contracted with Synergi. 3. Makes recommendations on hardware maintenance and upgrades. 4. Records data required to analyze problems and track them to final solution. 5. Prepares and presents reports related to IT infrastructure for management review and action. 6. Assists users by answering questions and providing support in a timely manner. 7. Provides problem resolution, reassigning or escalating advanced inquiries to appropriate technicians or subcontractors. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. 9. Budget Required Skills/Attributes 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software 3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 4. Excellent interpersonal skills 5. Ability to explain technical information in understandable language to nontechnical staff members. Required Education and Experience 1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or related area. 2. 5+ years of experience in IT Administration position 3. 5+ years of experience in IT Helpdesk position Preferred Certifications / Licenses 1. A+ Certification 2. Network+ Certification Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration when on a job site. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee is required to have a clean workspace in the office. In an instance where the employee is working offsite, at home, at a hotel, etc., the employee is required to have a clean workspace for virtual meetings, internally or externally with clients, vendors, etc. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This position is very active when either in the office and/or on a job site and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position (40 hours). Workdays are Monday through Friday, work times are dependent on department, projects, and supervisor's request and approval.
