RHEL Systems Administrator (Cameo Administrator)
Location:
Ft. Washington, MD or Warrenton, VA, Onsite in one of these locations
Requires:
TS/SCI security clearance
Salary Range:
$146-156KRHEL Systems Administrator (Cameo Administrator) is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Cameo systems, maintaining the integrity and accessibility of all server resources, hardware, systems, and keyprocesses.
Responsibilities:
  • Understand, configure and implement systemsusing Linux command-line in a cloud environmentMonitor the Cameo systems, maintain theintegrity and accessibility of all server resources,hardware, systems, and key processes.
Responsible for configuration and maintenanceof Cameo systems within a cloud environment,ensuring high availability of systems and servicesAdminister, configure, and troubleshoot userprofile issues in a virtual desktop environment.

Monitor and Optimize system storage disk on avirtual desktopCreate and delete user sessions and profiles on avirtual desktopResponsible for user support, user groups andpermissions, and user accessibility to systemCreate, maintain and update documentationincluding SOPs and RunBooks, and maintaining athorough backlog of work items in an Agile environmentResponsible maintaining work and changemanagement requests in JIRAAssist Information Systems Security andEngineering teams in implementing measures toensure compliance with security standards
Qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI IAT Level II certification Proven experience as a Red Hat Systems Administrator Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) command line Familiarity with XRDP Knowledge of image creation and deployment of a virtual desktop Understanding of managing multiple users' sessions or a basic understanding of sessman in a virtual desktop environment.
Knowledge of Cameo NoMagic Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of JIRA Preferred, but Not Required Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
