Overview:
ExecuSource is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to support and optimize internal infrastructure, systems, and end-user environments. This hands-on role serves as a high-level escalation point (Level 3 support) while contributing to network design, security, and overall system performance. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments, along with experience maintaining secure, compliant systems (CMMC-aligned). Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN/VPN
network environments
Install, configure, and manage routers, switches, and firewalls
Monitor system performance, network health, and security threats
Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune environments
Manage servers, infrastructure, and endpoint devices across the organization
Provide support to both onsite and remote users
Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for complex technical issues
Maintain documentation including SOPs, workflows, and system configurations
Oversee backup processes, disaster recovery planning, and security policies
Ensure compliance with CMMC and other security standards
Manage user provisioning, permissions, and access controls Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in systems and/or network administration
Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
Deep knowledge of networking (routing, switching, VPNs, TCP/IP)
Experience working in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
Experience with endpoint management, vulnerability management, and patching
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues independently
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022
Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment
Experience with AWS WorkSpaces or similar virtual desktop environments
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, MCSE, CISSP, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE Additional Information:
