Job Description

Intermediate L earning Management System Administrator Washington DC Grant Leading Technology is seeking a candidate for an Intermediate Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our dynamic team. The candidate will play an integral role in managing and optimizing our learning management system while coordinating training administration efforts and providing application support to end users. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who communicates effectively, adapts quickly to new technologies, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. This position will be on-site, and the hours are 8 am to 5 pm EST.
Responsibilities:
Manages and maintains the LMS platform, including system configuration, user accounts, course uploads, learning paths, and reporting dashboards Coordinates the efforts of instructional designers, content developers, and technical staff to ensure timely and accurate publishing of learning content within the LMS Conducts system audits and collaborates with technical professionals and stakeholders to ensure data integrity, compliance tracking, and platform performance Creates and maintains LMS documentation, user guides, and administrator resources at both the end-user and technical support level, as required Responds to learner and stakeholder inquiries, troubleshooting LMS access issues, course completion errors, and system problems in a timely and professional manner Understands and utilizes LMS platforms and integrated applications to support learner and organizational needs Configures and supports virtual training sessions and blended learning programs via MS Teams or Zoom Learns new LMS technologies and updates quickly, communicating technical requirements as they relate to system integrations and infrastructure needs Works independently with minimal direct supervision from the Program/Project Manager Performs other administrative and system support duties as assigned by the Division Manager Maintains a professional, positive, and learner-centered attitude at all times, upholding the mission of providing
Outstanding Customer Service Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Associate of Arts or Associate of Science (AA/AS) degree in Information Technology, Instructional Technology, or a related field Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in LMS administration, training coordination, or a related role
Skills:
Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills; proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Blackboard, Moodle, TalentLMS) and MS Teams and/or Zoom preferred Must be able to pass a federal government background check (Public Trust Clearance) Must live in the United States and be a U.
S Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred Skills:
Experience with LMS integrations (SSO, HRIS, API connections) Familiarity with federal government or public trust environments Project coordination experience alongside a
