The Server Administrator maintains the operations of the enterprise server infrastructure. This role reports to the Director, Information Technology, and has a Regional scope.Responsibilities:
Maintain the global operation of the enterprise Server infrastructure, SQL, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and local Servers Configure, monitor, and maintain all Servers within the Region. Configuration and performance optimization for Manufacturing applications. Cluster design for SQL. Collaborate with Global IT Server and Data management standards and best practices, policy and procedure Expert in Hyper-V and virtual server creation, management, back-ups and patching. Experience with Veeam for backups and restorations. Experience with Server permissions - Admin and User. Ensure disaster recovery processes are aligned with business strategy, documented, and tested. Assist in performing scheduled audits of all systems globally Coordinate with IT vendors A member of the IT team providing 24x7 global backup support for Server hardware and software. Works in compliance with Quality and EHS Policies and Procedures, includingTISAX, CMMC, IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001/ISO 27001
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2017/2019/2022, and familiar with Server 2025 Minimum 1 year with Physical to Cloud server migrations (AWS, Azure). Minimum 2 years' experience with Server connectivity via Cisco Switches, Routers, Wireless LAN and Firewalls Cisco certification or working towards certification is required Active Directory, and Exchange in a multi-site environment Experience in designing, building, deploying and operationally maintaining complex IT infrastructures in a multi-site environment Experienced in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and resolving Microsoft Hyper-V technologies Knowledge of third-party products and services like Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Zabbix, Veeam. Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers & service provider relationships across multiple sites Experience running a 24X7 environmentIBM AS400
