Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support and strengthen IT operations for a manufacturing organization in Mankato, Minnesota. This position is suited for a well-rounded infrastructure specialist who is comfortable working across servers, networks, end-user systems, and site-level technology needs. You will partner with a collaborative IT team to deliver reliable support, implement improvements, and help maintain stable, secure systems across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead infrastructure initiatives from planning through deployment, coordinating with internal teams to deliver system upgrades and technology enhancements.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and core IT systems across multiple business sites to support daily operations.
  • Configure and resolve network connectivity issues for end-user devices and infrastructure equipment in offices, work areas, and server or network rooms.
  • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies, recommending practical solutions that improve performance, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Create and refine technical documentation, operational procedures, and support standards to promote consistency and long-term system reliability.
  • Act as an advanced support resource for escalated technical problems affecting onsite and remote employees.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and IT colleagues to reduce downtime, support compliance expectations, and sustain dependable infrastructure services.
  • Contribute to major modernization efforts, including virtualization platform upgrades, equipment refreshes, and broader infrastructure improvement projects.
