July 1, 2026 Position Summary The Technology Systems Specialist is responsible for the administration, integration, and reliability of the district's enterprise technology systems and data environments. This role ensures that platforms and applications operate cohesively to support instruction and district operations. The position supports system interoperability, data integration, and data integrity across platforms, including user identity and access management to ensure accurate, secure, and timely access to instructional and operational systems. The role also supports continuity of operations by maintaining system reliability and assisting with backup, recovery, and security processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Systems Integration and Operations Support and maintain district enterprise systems, including Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, and integrated applications, in coordination with system owners. Support and monitor system integrations, data flows, and synchronization processes between platforms. Assist with user provisioning, identity management, and system access processes across applications. Assist with implementation, testing, and ongoing support of system updates and new technologies. Maintain documentation of system configurations, integrations, and workflows. Support continuity of instruction by ensuring reliable system access and resolving issues impacting digital tools and instructional platforms. Collaborate with technology staff and departments to support system integration and district operations. Recommend and implement improvements to systems, workflows, and data processes to enhance reliability and efficiency. Support and maintain system integrations, data exchanges, and technical workflows that ensure efficient operation of district technology systems and infrastructure. Develop knowledge of system integrations, data flows, and identity and access management systems. Data Integrity and Reporting Assist in maintaining the accuracy and consistency of data across integrated systems in coordination with system owners. Assist with data validation, extraction, and preparation processes supporting state and federal reporting. Troubleshoot system-level data issues impacting functionality or reporting. Security, Access, and Continuity Assist with identity and access management, including role-based permissions and account lifecycle processes. Assist in maintaining secure systems aligned with district cybersecurity and data privacy practices. Support system reliability, backup, and recovery processes to ensure continuity of operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience. Experience supporting enterprise systems, applications, or technology environments. Knowledge of system integrations, data management, and cloud-based platforms. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a K-12 technology environment. Familiarity with Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems, or data integrations. Experience with identity and access management or automated provisioning systems. Relevant technical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Google, or similar). Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and system reliability Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
