As a Server Engineer II, you will have the opportunity to help manager, monitor, and maintain both our enterprise server and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by supporting and modernizing network platforms and infrastructure for the organization. This is an on-site position at our corporate office in Carthage, MO.So, what will you be doing as a Server Engineer II? Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources including virtual machines, virtual networks, and storage accounts
Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
Manage patching, updates, and lifecycle maintenance for our server and cloud infrastructure
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure issues
Enforce security best practices, policies, and compliance standards
Optimize cloud usage and spending through Azure Cost Management, budgeting, and tools
Collaborate with development teams, security teams, and IT operations to support application and infrastructure needs
Document configurations, operational procedures, and runbooks
Assist with cloud migrations from on-premises or other cloud platforms To be successful in this role, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
At least 3 years of hands-on experience administering server and Microsoft Azure environments
Strong understanding of: Azure IaaS and PaaS services
Networking concepts (VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs)
Identity and access management (Azure AD, Conditional Access) Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration
Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies Things we consider a plus: Azure Certification - AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
Experience with: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
Hybrid cloud environments
Cloud financial management / FinOps
Application platforms including containers and Kubernetes Familiarity with industry compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, HIPAA, etc.) What to Do Next
