JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support critical digital systems in a dynamic on-site environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring technology runs efficiently by connecting end users with remote experts and resolving technical challenges in real time. Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on IT support, collaboration, and continuous improvement, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on operations, safety, and productivity.
WHAT'S THE JOB?
Serve as the primary on-site contact for digital systems support Diagnose and resolve technical issues directly with end users Collaborate with remote subject matter experts to troubleshoot problems Submit, track, and manage IT trouble tickets Initiate remote troubleshooting sessions, including capturing and sharing photos/screenshots Support setup, configuration, and deployment of computers and peripheral devices Assist with ordering, installing, and maintaining IT hardware and infrastructure Maintain physical inventory of IT equipment, including printers and network systems Troubleshoot WiFi and fiber network issues and manage related tickets Assist with barcode scanners and Zebra printer troubleshooting and programming Coordinate with external support teams (HP helpdesk, FedEx tech support) Manage ticketing systems such as Oracle RACES and Maximo Program badges and manage access control systems (SSO lists) Support site security system updates and basic programming adjustments Maintain and troubleshoot conference room technology Work in a warehouse environment using PPE as required Operate equipment (e.g., scissor lift) when needed to support network diagnostics Identify and support technology improvements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
WHAT'S NEEDED?
High School Diploma or GED required Experience supporting IT systems, hardware, and end users in a hands-on environment Familiarity with network troubleshooting (WiFi, fiber) Knowledge of PC setup, configuration, and deployment Exposure to printers, barcode scanners, and related technologies Experience with ticketing systems and incident management processes Ability to collaborate with remote technical teams and subject matter experts Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Comfort working in a warehouse or industrial setting
