POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a versatile System & Network Administrator to support the technology infrastructure at the Loew's Jersey City Theater. This is a generalist role requiring someone equally comfortable supporting end users, administering systems, and handling light network tasks in a fast-paced live event environment. Following the initial venue launch, this role will be based at Prudential Center with on-site presence at Loews during major events.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW
Systems Administration Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Manage device enrollment and compliance via Microsoft Intune Support server patching, updates, and routine maintenance Manage DNS and DHCP at both server and user level Assist with backup monitoring and verification Maintain proactive maintenance schedules for all hardware and systems Develop and maintain contingency plans for critical system failures Networking Perform light network tasks including VLAN assignments and port configurations Troubleshoot connectivity issues at server and user level Plan, deploy, and manage wireless networks for staff, events, and guests Troubleshoot and optimize wireless performance across the venue Support network requirements for AV and POS systems — multicast, VLAN assignments Monitor network performance and escalate advanced infrastructure issues to network engineering team Support wireless connectivity for staff and event operations End User and Event Support Provide hands-on desktop and application support for Loews staff Image and deploy end user devices Manage IT onboarding for new Loews employees Handle helpdesk tickets and resolve issues efficiently Take full ownership of all IT needs for the venue, internal operations and event/show requirements Serve as the primary IT point of contact for touring shows, events, and external production teams Provide on-site IT support during major events at Loews Theater Ensure systems and network stability during live events Coordinate with venue operations team on event-day technology needs
QUALIFICATIONS
Required 3+ years experience in a system administration or IT support role Solid understanding of networking fundamentals —
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
at server and user level Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory Experience with Microsoft 365 administration Experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise wireless networks Working knowledge of network requirements for AV and POS systems Strong end user support and troubleshooting skills Ability to work evenings and weekends during major events Preferred Microsoft Intune / endpoint management experience Experience with Extreme Networks or similar enterprise switching platforms Experience supporting live events, touring productions, or venue/entertainment environments CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft certifications a plus
