In this role, you will be the backbone of our technology operations, providing essential support to ensure seamless computer and network functionality across the organization. Your expertise will help maintain robust IT infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and deliver exceptional customer service to internal users. Responsibilities Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Manage computer systems, peripherals, and hardware components to ensure optimal performance and security. Assist users with desktop support tasks such as installing software, configuring devices, and troubleshooting operating system problems. Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure components such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other security measures. Support the administration of IT service management tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira for incident tracking and resolution. Troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office applications, operating systems, and specialized enterprise applications. Collaborate with team members to resolve help desk tickets efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure secure connectivity. Requirements Proven experience in providing IT support or help desk services with a focus on desktop support and technical troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of computer management practices including hardware installation, software configuration, and operating system maintenance. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, macOS, Linux operating systems, and common networking protocols such as LAN. Experience with VPN setup, firewall configuration, and basic network troubleshooting techniques. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while communicating clearly with users at all levels. Knowledge of IT support tools like Jira, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, switches, routers, and security appliances is a plus.
