Systems Administrator Basic Qualifications :
- 1-2 years Linux/Windows System Administration skills
- Security+ Certification
- Knowledge and ability to work with third party products, as required
- Integration and test experience desired
- The ability to work independently in a lab environment
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level or higher Desired skills :
- 1-2 years' experience supporting UNIX based users on a LAN, including operating systems
- Experienced in the installation of COTS-based computer systems.
- Experience solving end-user computer system problems and improving performance on the following platforms/operating systems: Solaris, Linux RedHat& RedHawk, Concurrent PowerMax, HP-UX and HP-RT.
- Ability to install and evaluate COTS software products and tools.
- Working knowledge of COTS software configuration management tools and processes is required.
- Working knowledge of data communications and networking is required.
- Experience working with customer/user representatives is required.
- Experience working on AEGIS Computer Systems
