Summary of Position:
The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, planning, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of all IT network infrastructure within the organization. In addition to the essential functions, the Network Administrator will also be required to assist the IT team in project-related work such as scoping and feasibility studies. This position may also be required to assist in basic helpdesk functions as needed.Qualifications Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred; Experience in related fields may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience:
- 3+ years experience in a network administration role required, healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience with configuring/deploying network devices such as switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, etc.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Working knowledge of L2, L3, VLANs, VPN Tunneling, DNS, DHCP, VOIP, Aruba OS-CX, QoS, SDWAN, MAC filtering and network security best practices.
Certifications/Licensure:
- CompTIA Network + required
- Aruba Certified Switching Associate or Professional preferred
