You will work for the corporate management team in our Great Neck office, servicing clinic locations across Long Island and Queens. This includes Microsoft 365, networking, security, cloud, and the account administration that connects our physicians and staff to the systems they rely on. You will combine system administration with hands on support in a role with broad responsibility and direct executive visibility.
What you will do:
Own Microsoft 365 / Exchange administration: identity, licensing, security groups, and policies. Design and maintain clean access control practices across multiple related business entities. Manage vendor relationships for core systems. Administer Microsoft 365 /
Exchange:
create and manage user accounts and mailboxes, apply naming conventions, manage licenses, and support onboarding and offboarding for staff and physicians. Manage user accounts and access for practice software systems across multiple practice locations. Administer our Vonage VoIP phone system: users, extensions, and call routing Manage network security with SonicWall firewalls: VPN access, firewall rules, and monitoring Administer endpoint security with Microsoft Defender across workstations and servers Manage devices with
Microsoft Intune:
enrollment, configuration, and compliance policies Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment: routers, switches, Wi Fi, and VPNs Support our Azure cloud environment: virtual machines, monitoring, and performance Manage backup and recovery systems and support disaster recovery planning Perform system patching, application upgrades, and hardware support Support our proprietary software applications, using the ticket system to track issues and follow through with the software development team Educate users on security awareness: handling suspicious emails and requests for sensitive information Participate in shared after hours support as needed Maintain correct access permissions across our related entities, following documented access rules Provide responsive, friendly help desk support to physicians and office staff workstations, printers, email, network, and software issues Travel to physician practice locations across the Long Island as needed for on site support Maintain documentation of systems, accounts, and procedures Follow HIPAA and security best practices in everything you do What you must have Bachelors Degree 3-5 years of systems administration experience Strong Microsoft 365 / Exchange / Entra ID administration skills Experience managing user lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, access reviews Solid networking skills: LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi Fi, and VPNs Experience with SonicWall firewalls, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender required Strong troubleshooting and documentation habits Healthcare IT experience, HIPAA environments Azure administration experience (VMs, monitoring) Experience with backup/recovery systems and disaster recovery planning Scripting/automation for account management Relevant Microsoft or CompTIA certifications
Pay:
$82,300.00 - $105,500.00 per year
