Clarificion from the agency This position is open to those willing and eligible to join the NYNG. Duties Help As a Base Services Specialist (GS-0301-09), you will analyze and coordine Base Services functions in support of federal, ste, and local missions. The incumbent serves as a point-of-contact for Services-reled programs, missions, functions, activities, and events for the wing and its assigned geographically separed units (GSU). Work involves supervising or performing work requiring knowledge of (a) the basic processes of administrion, (b) the principles and standard practices of management, and (c) the techniques of organizion, direction, coordinion, and control. : Must have one year specialized experience, educion or training equivalent to least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrive procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrive procedures. Ensures Sustainment Services personnel and equipment mobility requirements are accomplished. Coordines directly with squadron Unit Deployment Manager to ensure all readiness and ancillary requirements are complete. Provides oversight, analysis, and review of Services training requirements; consistent with Career Field Educion and Training Plan (CFETP) and master training plan standards. Reviews Air Reserve Component Network (ARCNet), Air Force Training Records (AFTR), and/or other locally developed dabases to verify required updes and training documention is complete for each unit member. Collabores with Unit Training and Deployment Managers to identify, schedule, conduct, and document Services specific training and align priorities with wing requirements to ensure all objectives are fulfilled. Identifies and forecasts Services formal training needs and provides reled financial da for inclusion in financial plan.
