Deployment Technician

Description We are looking for a skilled Deployment Technician to join our team in Rochester, New York. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering the opportunity to support end users while working on hardware upgrades and deployments. The ideal candidate will have a background in desktop support and experience with hardware configuration and system deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive desktop support to end users, addressing technical issues and ensuring smooth operations.
• Perform upgrades to Windows 10 and 11, ensuring systems meet organizational standards.
• Manage PC lifecycle refresh activities, including hardware replacements and updates.
• Configure and deploy computer hardware and associated peripherals.
• Utilize Active Directory to manage user accounts, permissions, and access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Document processes and maintain accurate records of deployments and updates.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of technical projects.
• Offer guidance and training to end users on new systems and tools as needed. Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory for user and system management.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and peripheral configurations.
• Skilled in deployment and configuration management processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to assist and guide end users effectively.
