Job Description

OEM/Miller is the leader in the fabrication corrugated plastic and rubber tubing for a wide variety of industries including appliance, truck and auto, medical and machining manufacturing. We supply both standard convoluted plastic tubing and a wide variety of specially engineered products to meet the most demanding specifications and the trickiest engineering requirements including complex assemblies, our patent-pending co-extrusion dual-material products and specialty cuffs.
SUMMARY:
Overall responsibility for managing the quality system per
IATF 16949
requirements. Serves as company management representative. Also responsible for corrective action documentation, customer responses and internal process audits / improvements.

Write and implement documentation and procedures as required to satisfy

standards. Assist personnel in various departments in documenting their quality system to meet the requirements of the international standards. Coordinate, document and insure completion of corrective action requests based on customer rejections in a timely and satisfactory manner following established procedures. Develop and implement an effective internal audit system. Supervise the training of internal auditors. Insure that the system meets all requirements. Insure completion of internal corrective actions. Insure continued

certification. Report on such status as requested. Continuous improvement of quality systems. Maintain product records to satisfy

requirements. Lead continuous improvement effort on designated projects. Investigate production / quality problems as assigned. Continue to work on long term solutions of projects. Practice good housekeeping and safety rules. Perform other duties and special assignments as requested by QA Manager. Regular attendance is also an essential function.
QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three to five years experience in working with "quality-type" programs desired. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Visual Basic desired but not required. Have working knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans and Process Flow diagrams.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Must have knowledge of facilitation skills. Group interactive skills. Presentation skills desirable.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
