Job Requirements Dayton, OH Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Peerless is searching for a highly skilled Mid-Senior Level Software Engineer who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, secure environment. The ideal candidate will be a Linux or Unix-focused technical expert and a go-to resource for the team, capable of managing multiple efforts simultaneously while contributing to the design, development, and sustainment of scalable software solutions. This work must be in person in the Dayton Ohio area Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI Active Security+ certification Strong experience with Linux or Unix systems (required) Proficiency in: Linux or Unix administration, User and application support, Networking fundamentals, Bash and/or PowerShell scripting Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions Experience supporting software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release cycles Experience performing testing activities (Sprint Testing, FAT, V&V, UAT) Familiarity with ICD 503 security controls and PCIDS configuration standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with Windows administration and system patching Experience with SIEM tools, preferably Splunk Experience supporting DoD or classified environments Ability to serve as a key technical contributor and team resource Strong communication and documentation skills Work Environment On-site position only (secure environment), No remote or telework options available group id: 10120350 Apply now
