Job Description:
Professional Summary We are seeking an accomplished Systems Administrator II to provide field device status validations utilizing SCADA and HMI solutions. This role ensures operational accuracy, signal integrity, and regulatory compliance across multiple business units. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional technical and operational teams to execute repeatable validation workflows, maintain meticulous documentation, and support the seamless integration of midstream pipeline assets into service. Core Responsibilities Execute P2
P Validations:
Perform Point-to-Point (P2P) validations from SCADA displays through HMI systems to field devices (RTU/PLC) to ensure signal integrity.
Verify System Accuracy:
Validate that field inputs and control outputs are accurately represented within the SCADA architecture and function correctly between systems.
Coordinate Testing Schedules:
Partner with
IT/SCADA
support, Pipeline Control, and Field Operations to align schedules, confirm readiness, and execute testing.
Manage High-Volume Workflows:
Conduct repeatable validation workflows across a high volume of devices and points with consistent accuracy over extended periods.
Document Results:
Maintain detailed, audit-ready documentation of validation steps, results, discrepancies, and resolutions using approved tracking tools.
Escalate System Discrepancies:
Identify, document, and escalate data discrepancies, communication failures, or configuration errors discovered during testing.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
Verify all validations meet Control Room Management requirements and internal operating guidelines before assets are placed into service.
Optimize Processes:
Provide feedback on validation processes, SCADA displays, and system configurations to support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications Technical Knowledge:
Working knowledge of SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, and pipeline control operations.
Workflow Execution:
Proven ability to manage repetitive, high-volume technical tasks with sustained consistency and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Communication:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and bridge gaps between technical (IT/SCADA) and operational (Control Room/Field) teams.
Organization & Scheduling:
Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate complex testing schedules and dependencies. Attention to

Ability to produce thorough, precise, and audit-ready technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications Compliance Experience:
Prior experience working within strict Control Room Management frameworks.
Advanced Troubleshooting:
Experience diagnosing communication and configuration errors between field devices and central SCADA control systems.
