Description Responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting relational database management systems to ensure reliable system operation and data availability. Assists with routine database administration tasks, including monitoring database performance, applying updates, and supporting backups and recovery processes. Supports database upgrades, migrations, and data transfers under established procedures to maintain data integrity and minimize downtime. Helps monitor database health, identify basic performance issues, and implement standard tuning and corrective actions. Supports database operations across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, including system configuration and connectivity. Assists with implementing database security controls such as user access, basic auditing, and data protection measures. Works with application and infrastructure teams to support database requirements and resolve operational issues. Maintains technical documentation and operating procedures. May provide extended support hours or travel to client or project locations, including unanticipated sites within the United States, as required. Must be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations in the United States. There is no international travel. There is also no relocation required. Any travel requirements will be entirely temporary in nature (up to but not exceeding 25%) and the hired employee will and the hired employee will work the vast majority of the time from Employer address.
