The Technology Services Specialist is responsible for providing support and handling the daily operations of the Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Technology Services Team. The Technology Services team is responsible for deploying and maintaining the technology our end users interact with on a daily basis. This includes PCs/laptops, peripherals, printers, conference room equipment, mobile devices, credit card devices and point of sale devices. They will follow and maintain various policies and procedures to ensure they are current and accurate. Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position): Work with vendors for hardware warranty claims, business unit specific software questions and software license management.
- Utilize the endpoint management system to maintain and track our hardware and software inventory, PC images, software deployments and manage mobile devices.
- Respond to and restore escalated user issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements. Seek help from other teams within the Information Technology department when necessary.
- Research and provide quotes to users for new hardware and software requests.
- Assist with resolving vulnerabilities, patching issues and software updates for end user devices. Track the life cycle of our assets to ensure they are current and have the latest security patches and software updates
- Serve as a technical resource for various projects that require help from the Technology Services team.
- Receive and process purchases for new hardware and software.
- Follow, learn and update the Technology Services policies, procedures and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of related experience. 18 years of age or older. Pre-Employment
- Microsoft Certified Associate in Modern Desktop Administration or ITIL Foundation v4.0 or CompTia A+ (desired) Must have a valid Drivers' License Associate's degree
- Information Management, Information Systems, Information Technology Relevant work experience can be substituted for education

Additional Qualifications:
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
