Full Job Description About Us:
We are a fast-growing payment processing company providing tailored solutions to businesses across a wide range of industries. Our network of independent sales agents helps clients navigate the complex world of merchant services, and we pride ourselves on delivering best-in-class support. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service / Sales Support Representative to join our team and ensure the success of both our clients and sales agents.
Job Summary:
As a Customer Service / Sales Support Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for independent sales agents and clients. You'll provide timely assistance, resolve issues, and support the onboarding and ongoing service experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary support contact for independent sales agents and merchant clients. Assist with onboarding and account setup, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and documentation. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding products, applications, and service issues. Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally. Coordinate with internal teams (underwriting, risk, technical support) to manage account approvals and issue resolution. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payment processing products, pricing models, policies, and procedures. Support sales agents with application status updates, documentation requests, and training as needed. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve the customer/agent experience. Track and report recurring issues or trends to management.
Qualifications:
Prefer 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or merchant services preferred. Experience working in the payment processing or fintech industry is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with CRM systems, ticketing tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
