Job Description

Contract:
6+ months & Extendable Pay rate - $43/hr on W2/Danta Technologies payroll (OR) $50/hr on C2C Workbench Migration & Cloud Operations Support end‐to‐end migration of Workbench workloads from on‐prem or legacy environments to Azure Linux Compute. Provision, configure, and manage Azure Linux virtual machines, storage, and networking components. Perform migration planning, execution, validation, and post‐migration troubleshooting. Collaborate with application, platform, and architecture teams to ensure migration success. Linux System Administration Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux operating systems (primarily RHEL‐based distributions). Monitor system performance, availability, and security. Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and access controls. Perform system backups, restores, and recovery testing. Troubleshoot OS‐level, application, and performance issues. Apply OS patching, hardening, and compliance baselines. Azure Cloud Administration Manage Azure infrastructure including: Azure Linux Virtual Machines Azure Managed Disks and Storage Accounts Azure Blob Storage and Azure File Shares Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, and
IAM/RBAC
Support Azure storage services (Azure FileShare, Blob Storage). Monitor Azure resource utilization, performance, and health. Ensure security, governance, and compliance across Azure workloads. Optimize Azure resources for cost, scalability, and reliability. Security, Monitoring & Operations Implement and maintain security controls at OS and cloud layers. Support logging and monitoring integrations (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, ELK). Participate in incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis. Ensure backup, DR, and resilience best practices are followed. Documentation & Collaboration Create and maintain system documentation, runbooks, and migration procedures. Provide technical support to users and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Cloud, Platform, Application, and Security teams. Stay updated on Linux, Azure, and cloud best practices. Skills & Qualifications Mandatory Skills Strong hands‐on experience in Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS). Proven experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure, especially Linux compute. Experience with Azure Storage services (Blob, File Share). understanding with automation and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform). Solid troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills. Strong understanding of security principles and access management. Good to Have Experience with migration projects (on‐prem → Azure). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, ELK). Exposure to Workbench‐style Linux environments. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
