12 We are hiring a Data Transmission Engineer (IBM Sterling).
Location:
Atlanta, GA 30303 (Hybrid)
Duration:
12 Months We are looking for an experienced Data Transmission Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Sterling File Gateway and B2B Integrator platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in infrastructure support, installation, configuration, and production support within enterprise data transmission environments.

  • SEAS (Sterling External Authentication Server)
  • Sterling Control Center
Infrastructure Support & System Configuration Responsibilities:
  • Install, upgrade, configure, and support Sterling File Gateway (SFG) infrastructure
  • Provide third-level production support (24/7) for data transmission systems
  • Support environmental changes including requirement gathering for system updates
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure security compliance across Sterling integrations and environments
  • Troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions to prevent failures
  • Participate in project status meetings and collaborate with technical teams
Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of experience with SFG/B2B Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, SEAS, and Control Center
  • Experience installing, administering, and configuring Sterling platforms
  • Understanding of network protocols, firewall configuration, and security concepts
  • Experience with IBM mainframe, Windows, and Linux system administration
  • Knowledge of security certificates and secure file transmission
  • Experience supporting production environments
