The Classified Infrastructure Services (CIS) department provides expertise to programs in Networking and High-Performance Computing. We are seeking a Junior Network Administrator to join our team in McKinney, TX. In this role, you will bring a basic level knowledge of Cisco devices and commands to support multiple, air-gapped Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs). This is an onsite position in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do:

Review Technical Security Controls with more senior networking professionals and apply to network configurations Install network hardware as part of tech refreshes Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues Create and maintain technical documentation such as network and rack diagrams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of less than 2 years of relevant experience, or minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering, or in an IT discipline. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Effective customer service skills, including oral and written communications. Experience with Cisco Networking Products. CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent 8570 IAT Level II or 8140 Intermediate for Network Operations Specialist), or ability to acquire within 6 months of start date. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD

• 108,800 USD.
