We have grown to become a leading global provider of refurbished analytical instruments, specializing in chromatography (HPLC|UHPLC|GC), mass spectrometry (LCMS|GCMS|LC-MS/MS), and elemental analysis (ICP-OES|ICP-MS|AAS) equipment. Our enhanced services include maintenance and/or service contracts, repair services, validation services, equipment parts, and a variety of on-site tailor-made training programs. Job Summary We are looking for a multi-vendor, multi-instrument service engineer for contract work. Exact service dates will be negotiated with minimum 1 week advanced warning. We are particularly interested in candidates with LC-MS experience. If interested, reply with a list and extent of instruments serviced along with any formal training and experience. Formal training as a service engineer or field service technician from AB Sciex is a strong asset.

Responsibilities:
Test, troubleshoot, and repair of analytical instruments. Install, maintain, and service analytical equipment, including replacing parts, calibration of instruments, and performance testing. Provide technical support to customers (emails, phone calls, remote, onsite) Able to enter and leave the USA to visit Canadian Headquarters for training when necessary.
Skills/ Requirements:
Experience operating/maintaining/troubleshooting Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometers. Precision Assembly & Mechanical Dexterity - Demonstrates exceptional hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to assemble and disassemble small, delicate components with accuracy. Capable of handling complex, sometimes heavy parts while ensuring careful alignment, proper fit, and functionality. Ability to understand technical manuals that may include instrument configuration schematics and electrical diagrams. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to think creatively. Thinking beyond conventional strategies and traditional solutions. Fast learner capable of taking initiative for self-directed education. Valid driver license an asset. Ability to speak more than one language an asset. US Citizenship an asset Formal training as a service engineer or field service technician from AB Sciex is a strong asset.
