Job Description:
Lead IT Administrator/ Engineer/Consultant. Netfidelis Lead IT Administrators are responsible for all details concerning our customer's computer hardware, software and networking infrastructure. This includes implementing, maintaining and supporting these systems. In addition, IT Consultants are responsible for proactively generating new task requirements with customers through continual dialogue with Customer about necessary improvements for maintaining, securing and improving their business networks and computer systems. Netfidelis Lead Engineers are also our Lead Sales Engineers and responsible for building relationships with new customer prospects that are contacted through our lead generation process. This includes the initial meeting and presentation of the Netfidelis products and follow-up discussions to move them from a prospect to a customer with a signed support agreement (PSA) . They will work closely with their sales supervisor to provide the necessary product quotes to prospective customers.
Job Requirements:
Education and/or experience that demonstrates a proven ability to work in a fast paced environment implementing and supporting networking infrastructure and technologies including servers, desktops, routers, switches and associated end user software. Ability to provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating with a broad range of technical and non-technical users while resolving their computer related issues. Proven time/project management skills and ability to track and document all time and activity through a ticketing system. Motivated and willing to work diligently to provide technical leadership in finding IT solutions that provide real business value.
Job Technologies:
Servers and PC's (hardware and software). Microsoft Windows Networks (Active Directory, Group Policy). Networking Technologies (DFS, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, WiFi). Email Infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Exchange, SPAM, etc.) and Protocols. (SMTP, IMAP, ActiveSync, etc.). Remote Desktop services (Microsoft RDP). Virtualization Technology (Hyper-V, etc.). Server Backups and Disaster Recovery Solutions (Veeam, etc.). Network Monitoring and Management Tools (N-Central, etc.). Security Solutions including Firewalls, A/V and EDR (Bit Defender, etc.). Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.).
