In this role, you will provide infrastructure support for ServiceNow MID servers, application nodes, RDS instances, and supporting systems within a secure self-hosted network enclave. You will be responsible for Linux system administration, AWS cloud infrastructure management, automation, security compliance, and platform reliability. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire.

1st Shift (9/80 Schedule) Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain ServiceNow MID servers on Linux platforms for Discovery and integration operations Manage Linux server environments including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, and Ubuntu systems Configure and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, RDS, VPCs, security groups, networking, and cloud resources Implement system hardening, patching, and security configurations in accordance with STIGs and CIS benchmarks Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability while troubleshooting Linux-level issues impacting operations Automate deployments and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for supporting infrastructure Coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams regarding firewall rules, routing, and connectivity requirements Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, configuration documentation, and system records Support future ServiceNow integrations and infrastructure enhancements Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master's Degree plus 3 years of relevant experience Minimum of 3 years of Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments Minimum of 2 years of hands-on AWS experience including EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible Strong scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages Knowledge of secure cloud architectures and compliance frameworks including FedRAMP and FISMA U.S.
Citizenship required Active DoD Secret Clearance required at time of hire Preferred Qualifications:
Agile development environment experience Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification or equivalent Linux certification AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS SysOps Administrator certification Experience supporting ServiceNow infrastructure and MID server environments Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills Work Environment:
