The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, computer science, and information security, with experience in both traditional and cloud-based environments. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team. This job is remote in California only and requires significant Mac experience.
Duties :
Perform daily Mac administration and system maintenance tasks through MDM, bash scripting and remote access. Deploy application updates and upgrades and develop and deploy automation script to maintain high availability and high performance of Mac systems deployed in multiple global data center locations Ensure stable and adequate IT infrastructure and architecture (e.g., data, applications, computers and networks) are in-place to support business requirements Apply software, application and management tool upgrades/patches to assure performance, stability and security Provide input and recommendations for the acquisition, deployment, adoption, usage, operations, maintenance and management of server hardware and software tools Automate and manage routine backups of critical systems, monitor for errors and take action accordingly Maintain and develop python scripts to improve performance and automate systems administration tasks Troubleshoot and support macOS and Linux servers Research, resolve, and respond to support requests based on processes, policies and standards Provide reliable and trusted solutions for our customers by acquiring, maintaining and expanding knowledge of relevant products, current support policies, and methods of support delivery
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of System Administrator or equivalent work experience with Linux or Mac computer systems required 3 years of Mac experience required Excellent communication skills and work ethics required Excellent problem-solver and quick learner Expert knowledge of UNIX based operating systems Strong knowledge of networking, automation, and IT security Familiar with
