Job Description

Microsoft 365 SharePoint Lead Staff Augmentation Columbia , Maryland Contract CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 SharePoint Lead to support and lead enterprise-scale Modern Workplace implementations. This role will focus on SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Virtual Desktop environments, supporting collaboration, provisioning, and cloud-based workplace transformation initiatives You will oversee hardware requests, manage return and retirement processes, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure consistent communication across stakeholders.

Starting at $55+/hr. based on experience, credentials, and education
Position Type:
Long-term W-2 Consultant based in the United States
Work Authorization:
Visas are acceptable (any EAD). Candidates must be eligible to work on W2 and must not require sponsorship for at least 6-12 months. What you'll do: Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 implementations across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business Oversee Exchange Online mailbox lifecycle (provisioning, migration, permissions, licensing) Manage and support collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams Drive SharePoint Online administration, governance, and user enablement Deploy and manage Modern Workplace solutions within Microsoft 365 ecosystem Support application packaging and deployment via Microsoft Intune Administer and optimize Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments including: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Windows 365 Cloud PCs VMware Horizon / vCenter / Horizon View Utilize tools such as Nerdio Manager, ControlUp, and PDQ Connect for monitoring and deployment Support software patching, endpoint management, and automation across enterprise environments Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and end-user computing teams to ensure stable operations What we're looking for: 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) Strong expertise in: SharePoint Online Exchange Online OneDrive for Business Microsoft Teams Experience with Intune (application packaging and device management) Experience supporting Virtual Desktop solutions (AVD, Windows 365, VMware Horizon) Familiarity with Azure-based infrastructure and identity services Experience with end-user computing tools and monitoring platforms Nice to have: Experience with Nerdio Manager, ControlUp, or PDQ Connect Exposure to Omnissa Horizon Next-Gen environments Experience supporting large-scale enterprise M365 rollouts or migrations About Us The CSI Companies is a leading staffing and recruiting firm, providing healthcare organizations with highly skilled professionals since 1994.
